Conspiracies are everywhere…supposedly this company is doing ‘this’ or ‘that’, this figure head is involved in ‘this’ or that religious cult or occult activity etc , and the list goes on. By definition a conspiracy is is a plot or plan to do something against somebody else or when someone conspires to do something they’ve planned to do something negative to someone else. Joseph’s brothers conspired against him to kill him. His father loved him the most and had given him a coat that was arrayed with colors. His brothers were jealous and thought to commit evil against Joseph so, they sold him into slavery.
There are also conspiracy theories a speculated plan of attack against someone or people. There are many conspiracy theories circulating independent media, Youtube, prison planet, etc etc which speculate that there are dark powers and occult activities in our government and corporate system. Some of these conspiracy theorists say that they are Christians just spreading the truth about what’s going on in our world. I do believe in the power of the truth and free media but if something is suspecting to be true, is it still the truth?
January 12, 2010, Haiti suffered a terrible earthquake, 7.0 magnitude with worse than horrible deaths and damages. I’ve been surfing the Internet for information regarding the earthquake until I read some theories that H.A.A.R.P was responsible. H.A.A.R.P stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. They use large energy towers to search for traces of oil deep within the earth. These towers shoot energy into the earth and the researchers wait for a sound response which tells them whether or not oil is in that area, they’ve tested the earth’s atmosphere as well. With their research they have the ability to create/manipulate weather patters, that is the claim.
When I read this stuff the first thing I thought to myself was, “wow, people don’t even give God credit for earthquakes anymore.”
I have questions to those that preach conspiracy theories:
Has God called you to minister these theories?
In what way are these conspiracies that you expose furthering the Gospel?
Do you believe that these claims an attribute to the Gospel?
Do the conspiracies you expose reveal Gods love ? Does it make His reality known?
check these Scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:15-16 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (16) But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
2 Timothy 4:2-5 KJV Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. (3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
The word of truth isn’t with in the words of some conspiracy the truth is the Word of the living God. Not something about Illuminati, free mason or whatever although those sects exist. A non-believer needs to know the Gospel of Jesus and ministering conspiracy theories to them is unfruitful and does nothing to further Gods kingdom.
Romans 10:9-17 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (16) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? (17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
