Divine Influence upon the Heart

What I have so far….

I studied for a little bit today on the grace of God and i was so frustrated that understanding wasn’t blasting through my mind and heart at the reading of each word. God does want us to understand his word. I read over and over again about salvation by faith through grace, unity in the body of Christ, so on and so forth. I took a nap and woke up with better understanding, isn’t that interesting?

God is totally righteous, completely righteous and every way and for example it was expressed through Christ, our Lord. Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (17) For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Those justified shall live by His faith. thank you Lord.

What or who justifies us?

redemptive blood of Christ
Hebrews 9:13-15 MKJV For if the blood of bulls and of goats and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh, (14) how much more shall the blood of Christ (who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God) purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (15) And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 9:22 GW As Moses’ Teachings tell us, blood was used to cleanse almost everything, because if no blood is shed, no sins can be forgiven.

We can’t shed the blood of anything else any longer that would forgive our sins.   Jesus took upon himself ALL of our sins, every single one and as we believe by faith through grace in the word and work of Christ we are justified by Him.

Christ and His blood shed justify us.
Ephesians 2:8-10 MKJV For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, (9) not of works, lest anyone should boast. (10) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

We don’t have room to boast of our own salvation. through the grace and love of God salvation is available to all those that believe and confess Jesus as Lord of their life.
