  1. This conflict has gone on for over 2000 years. Neither side trusts the other. Do people really think that peace will ever come to the middle east? Only one can do that, and that is God himself. Many have tried and many will keep trying including the antichrist. All have failed or will fail. Am I a pessimist? No, just a realist.

  2. I had a similar conversation with a preacher that I know. I was trying to explain to him that the oppression of the Arabs in Israel was wrong, and he said they were intruders and squatters and there were plenty of other countries that would gladly take them. I was literally sick from what he was saying. If you want to be direct about who and who is not intruders everyone on this land is an intruder besides Native Americans, and you wouldn’t believe it, he told me he was a native american and that he got where he was from working hard, implicating that other native Americans did not, I was appalled at his callousness. I know that was a mouth full but when i think about it I get angry all over again.

  3. Something to consider, God gave the land of Canaan to Abraham, then his son Isaac, then Jacob (who was called Israel). God told the Israelites to drive out all the occupants and to not leave one. This was not done and now you can see what has happened because of disobediance.
Do I believe in oppression? Definately not, it is wrong and hurtful. I think there are only two ways to solve the problem over there. Either seperate them and give the Palestinians their own country with a wall between them. Or let them fight it out to the last man/woman/child. I would prefer the wall.

  4. I agree I don’t think having a “to the death” battle will solve any problems. I also believe they should have their own state. Right now they have a community but the problem is that it’s difficult for humanitarians to receive aid their. Gentrification is not confronted either. On a regular, Arab homes are raided, their apartment buildings destroyed, and people gunned down in the streets because their growing population is considered a cancer to the Israeli government.
